Béa’s fabulous lectures:
'I have learned more about Art and artists in Bea's lectures than I have in semesters at university!'

Frankie B.

Béa's presentations are such a delightful blend of captivating storytelling and artistic wisdom. Béa visually presents the masterpieces of her chosen artists but also sets the art in historic and social context. I always walk away from a session with Béa knowing the artists as fully-dimensional persons, their cohorts, their beliefs, their eccentricities and their place in the world in which they lived. Rarely is learning so entertaining.

CHRIS MCCASKILL

Some people you meet in this life you would think talented, some very talented, Bea Aaronson walks, and breathes in that rarified air of the mega talented, without restriction.

STEVIN COHEN

Your wonderful art lectures have been part of my life in San Miguel for many years now.  I am always amazed and impressed at how much information you can cram into an hour.  They are impressively researched and presented with flair, knowledge and humour.

SUE LOWE

You are a consummate researcher, story and truth teller, and a phenomenal speaker, one filled with great animation and intelligence.

I love your lectures and only wish I could be in SM longer to hear them all.

LYNN PADWE

It was not a conference but almost like watching a play. You put so much of yourself in them. Hard to tell which artist or subject I liked best. They were all superb!

AUREA QUESADA

Béa educates the eye as well as the mind. Her art history lectures are my favorite activity in San Miguel.  Art and its history have been my pursuit since graduating from college in the 1950s. Bea has added a new dimension to my knowledge.  Her lectures are so very dynamic.   She gives each artist or movement a different approach from the art history books and puts them in a context that is always exciting to me. I've learned so much and learned to appreciate some artists that I hadn't before. After one of her talks I feel as if I have been sitting around a dinner table with these artists discussing their individual view points.
I come away energized and full of new knowledge, both historic and visual.

MARCUSE PFEIFER NEW YORK ART DEALER

My husband and I followed your talks from the house on Pila Seca to the latest one in shalom San Miguel. Not only are they informative, well researched and entertaining but they probe beneath the ideas and lives of the artists being shown. They explore the history, philosophy and life the artist lived and it is so enriching to our understanding. We look forward to each talk and always learn a great deal.

BETTY AND ARTUR SALZ

Your lectures are the centerpiece of our week when we are in SMA- Your vast knowledge makes your lectures a joy to experience and last as grist for the mill for all of us who regularly attend.

DALE AND SUE BRAIMAN

It was a fantastic hour today with Bea Aaronson. What a treat to see her throw herself,  her own emotions , and sensitivities into the story of Camille Claudel. Béa is a gem, and I am so thrilled to be able to watch her lectures and impart such detailed knowledge. Thursday afternoon is the highlight of my week!
